Odd-toed ungulates belong to the order Perissodactyla and include the families Equidae ( Zebras ) and Rhinocerotidae (Rhinoceroses ). These animals have uneven number toes.
The above families are relatively large animals and are both bulk feeders, Zebra is less selective than the rhino and are hindgut fermenters that compensate for their less- efficient fragmentation by increasing there total food intake |
